Bureau of Financial Entities

What is the Bureau of Financial Entities?
It’s a reference and information tool that helps you learn about the products offered by financial institutions, their fees and rates, user complaints, unfair practices in which they engage, administrative sanctions imposed on them, abusive clauses within their contracts, and other relevant information to help you assess their performance.
By means of the Bureau of Financial Entities, we can identify the key players within the banking and insurance sectors, as well as in multi-purpose financial companies, savings banks, pension funds (AFOREs), and other similar entities.
This allows you to compare and evaluate different financial institutions, their products and services, and gives you more information to help you choose what best suits your needs. This information is also useful for when picking financial products as well as to better understand and use the products you already have.
This Bureau of Financial Entities is a tool that can help contribute towards the country’s economic growth by promoting competition among financial institutions; which will boost transparency by providing users with information on the performance of these institutions and the products they offer, which in turn will facilitate the responsible use of said products and services by providing users with detailed information about their characteristics.
This will ultimately lead to improved social wellbeing, because access to such a wealth of information from the financial system on one single platform gives users greater tools so as to optimize their budgets, improve their personal finances, use credit properly to strengthen their finances, and obtain the insurance coverage they need, among other benefits.
